Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hardware and Systems Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in advancing our automation capabilities and troubleshooting complex issues. The ideal candidate will have a broad and deep understanding of hardware, software, total system architecture, and the interactions of complex systems. They will work closely with software development engineers to accelerate their work, help architect the best possible design, evaluate the performance of automation algorithms, and troubleshoot complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with software and hardware development engineers to integrate and optimize automation functions.

· Design and architect comprehensive system solutions that integrate software and hardware components to maximize automation and total printed throughput.

· Develop and execute robust unit tests and integration tests, considering edge cases from both hardware and software perspectives.

· Evaluate the performance of automation algorithms and suggest improvements.

· Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during development phases and in the field.

· Assist in developing and maintaining system architecture documentation.

· Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of our products.

Additional Pay Details

Compensation Range

$80,000 to $100,000 per Year

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

· 5 years experience in hardware and software engineering, system architecture, or a related field.

· Strong understanding of hardware-software integration and system-level design.

· Proficiency in coding and software development practices.

· Excellent analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in automated systems and robotics.

· Experience with digital printing technology.

· Proficiency in coding for hardware systems, with experience in C++, Python, or similar languages.

· Experience with version control systems such as Git.

· Familiarity with communication protocols, such as TCP/IP.

· Experience in evaluating and optimizing automation algorithms.

· Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
