Description:

The Process Technician initiates the ice cream manufacturing process by mixing/blending batch sheets. The process tech will use raw materials for mixing and pasteurizing custards and flavor bases for the ice cream. They will transfer the finished product to a holding tank that is used by production to for flavoring. The process tech will be responsible for making sure production has enough material to work through a 10 hour shift. The last step is for the process tech to use CIP to clean the equipment and pipes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves:

High School Diploma/GED

Food or pharma blending/mixing experience

6+ months of experience with mixing and CIP

Ability to do basic math: conversions, weights

Ability to follow a batch sheet

Preferred:

Prior dairy or pasteurization experience

High level of understanding of food safety and regulations (FDA, GMP, SOP)
