Warehouse Associate Fort Lauderdale, Florida

ARC Group is currently recruiting a Warehouse Associate for our Fortune 500 client in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is initially a contract role that can be extended or brought on permanently. The right candidate will be responsible for warehouse operations, inventory, logistical planning, and purchasing of operation materials.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate: **

• Execute day-to-day warehouse tasks, including shipping and receiving, to support local operations.
• Input data into systems for receiving supplies at warehouse facilities, and initiate reorder processes for standard items, equipment, supplies, and services.
• Distribute parts and supplies to support operational functions.
• Generate and maintain documentation such as requisitions, inventory lists, and manifests, ensuring accuracy in inventory counts.
• Facilitate deliveries to vessels and terminal locations.
• Coordinate transportation vendors, prioritizing considerations of cost, quality, and reliability as directed by the Supply Chain Manager.

Warehouse Associate Experience Requirements:

• Possess one or more years of recent experience in warehousing, materials management, or procurement-related duties.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and Port ID.
• Forklift certification obtained either prior to employment or through post-hire training/certification.
• Hold a valid driver's license and demonstrate proficiency in operating company vehicles
