Omnicell, Inc. Facilities Manager in Fort Worth, Texas

The facilities manager is responsible for the daily facility operations at Omnicell’s Fort Worth, Grapevine, and Austin sites. Through vendors or landlord property managers, the individual will oversee the upkeep of the building systems and routine facilities functions to maintain a great work environment. The individual will maintain positive customer relations and support OSHA, FDA, Green Initiatives, and ISO requirements. The individual will develop facility maintenance programs and drive continuous process improvement and best practices across the facility's organization.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of facility operations at our Texas locations including facility vendors and contractors

  • Performs and/or directs the performance of all facility service requests, ensuring that the work performed in these areas is accomplished efficiently, with minimal disruption and good customer service.

  • Proactively maintains critical building infrastructure with established preventative maintenance programs.

  • Checks malfunctioning equipment and ascertains corrective action required to restore to satisfactory operating condition.

  • Acquires and maintains required permits.

  • This position will demonstrate the proper use and care of tools and will instill a high level of professionalism and client service.

  • This position must maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and client-based audits that are applicable to their assigned facilities.

  • Responsible for the Environment of Care, Emergency Management, Life Safety, support to the EH&S program and familiarity with ISO 14001 and 9001 and/or 13485.

  • Coordination of IT and vendors, cleaning, recycling, security, and effective negotiation with property management.

Essential Functions

  • Instills a high level of professionalism, manages facility, and supervises the performance of contracted maintenance personnel.

  • Financial Management- Plans and forecasts the facilities budget and recommends facility repairs and improvements including annual capital plans.

  • Oversees and inspects small construction and installation projects.

  • Oversees the coordination of building space planning and allocation of office resources.

  • Coordinates the receptionist function.

  • Manages preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC and office equipment.

  • Oversees the cleaning and maintenance of the facility.

  • Ability to lift light materials under 15 pounds.

  • Comfortable performing ad hoc facility functions as needed.

  • Managing vendors & interfacing with property management.

  • Ability to successfully manage individual and group moves.

  • Work on furniture solution for ergonomic issues

  • Develop space plans, move management, reconfigurations, and small construction/capital improvements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Vendor management experience

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Security and Visitor Management Systems

  • 7+ years of facilities experience

  • Project Management experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related technical trade school field preferred

  • Able to work in a dynamic complex organization and to prioritize critical needs with a high degree of customer focus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting programs

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

  • Proven budget, and vendor management responsibilities

  • Ability to solve complex facility problems quickly and proficiently.
