The Climate Pollution Reduction Program (CPRP) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a Climate Pollution Reduction Project Manager (IT Project Management Journey) *position. This position is located in our *Headquarters Office inLacey, WA.{rel="nofollow"} Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.   As Project Manager, you will oversee and direct complex Climate Pollution Reduction Program (CPRP) medium to large-scale software development IT projects. You'll organize your project teams, develop project plans, budgets, schedules, and lead the execution of these plans. The complexity of this work involves detailed planning, execution, and responding to evolving IT technology and best practices.  As a frontrunner in the Climate Pollution Reduction field, you will need flexibility with new and changing business requirements and understanding their effect on IT system requirements.   *If you possess excellent communication skills, the ability to quickly assess a situation when making a decision, and a strong willingness to collaborate across project teams, then this position is for you!   The principal department strategic priorities and goals that relate to the Climate Pollution Reduction Program (CPRP) include: reduce and prepare for climate impacts; prevent and reduce toxic threats; and deliver efficient and effective services. The CPRP's mission is to implement policies and programs to reduce carbon emissions in the state of Washington so that the state meets its statutory greenhouse gas emission limits. The CPRP focuses long term, requiring creative and strategic decision making for implementation to achieve broad statewide and interstate success reducing carbon emissions in the state of Washington so residents have a healthy environment and climate.
