Amazon Private Brands (APB) is a global brand portfolio including Amazon Basics, Amazon Essentials, byAmazon, and Amazon Grocery, offering products that our customers love at great value within Hardlines, Consumables and Softlines.

The APB marketing team, which operates across North America, Europe, and Japan and supports all product families, is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead the Amazon Basics go-to-market strategy as well as the brand implementation project.

This role is highly cross-functional and involves creative, marketing, and project management skills to drive this global initiative. This is your chance to drive one of the most strategic and complex projects within the Amazon Private Brands organization, impacting a multi billion dollar business and working with stakeholders from all product families and functions across NA, EU and JP.

The successful candidate will have experience in leading go-to-market strategies for consumer products, as well as project or program strategy skillset, being able to deliver end to end complex initiatives and communicating results to senior leadership. The role requires strong bias for action, ownership and earn trust, and will proven experience juggling daily and operational challenges and building strong partnerships with senior leaders across.

Key job responsibilities

  • Independently create and execute the yearly Amazon Basics marketing calendar to activate the brand across all APB marketing channels, working closely with the marketing channels team.

  • Independently partner with APB product detail page merchandising team, Creative and Design team, as well as Hardlines and Consumables private brand business teams to roll out the latest Amazon Basics guidelines across detail pages, brand stores, A+ content, product packaging and physical products.

  • Single threaded leader for the project governance of the APB portfolio brand consolidation and refreshes:

  • Build a project workback schedule with key milestones, ETAs, ownerships and stakeholders alignment.

  • Set up the project roadmap in relevant tracking tools (e.g., Workfront).

  • Engage with 15+ project POCs on a regular cadence to ensure ETAs are met.

  • Develop the inventory management strategy in partnership with APB business, supply and sourcing teams to successfully transition and consolidate our selection while maintaining a great customer experience and limiting inventory shortage.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing, project or program management experience

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams

  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer product launches

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in hardlines or consumables product marketing or brand management

  • Experience in working with project management tools (e,g,. Workfront)

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
