Meta Finance Manager, RL Accessories in Sunnyvale, California

Summary:

Meta Reality Labs Team is a fast-growing team that manages the finances for Facebook’s consumer hardware group, which includes VR and other AI devices. This role is part of the Operations Finance team that oversees our investments in new product development and capital investment. We focus on using our unique view into the numbers to see trends and opportunities that are developing within the company as well as across the industry. In this role you will own and manage finances for Meta’s Accessories group which plans to release multiple products over the next few years. Accessories are at an early growth stage in RL and the role will have tremendous influence in shaping up the future trajectory of the business. This is a full P&L ownership role in which you will assess new programs, support financial analysis for sustaining programs and manage Gross Profit for Accessories business. You will gain invaluable experience in a position which offers significant responsibility and interaction with management as well as considerable opportunity to have a large impact within a growing Finance organization. This is a highly cross functional role which involves interaction with Product Management, Program managers, Engineers, Sales and Accounting. Successful candidates for this team have a bias towards action, exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know-how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast.

Required Skills:

Finance Manager, RL Accessories Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with Ops team to provide hands-on analytic support and develop actionable insights to manage investments

  2. Provide financial leadership across planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning for HC, Opex and Capex

  3. Establish and enforce expenditure policy for all groups

  4. Develop decision frameworks for capacity planning

  5. Help define and implement scalable financial processes and reports related to month-end and quarter-end close, including accruals and reporting

  6. Benchmark investments across our product portfolio

  7. Provide insights to business partners through variance analysis, forecasting and budgeting processes

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years of financial analysis experience

  2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent

  3. Experience developing analytical frameworks and communicating financial concepts to leadership

  4. Experience partnering with and influencing cross-functional leaders

  5. Experience building financial models in Excel

  6. Experience with PowerPoint, Oracle and Hyperion

  7. Experience working and partnering with leadership

  2. Experience with hardware development process

  3. Understanding of hardware manufacturing process

  4. Exposure to large scale product development

  5. Experience in accounting concepts and financial planning

Public Compensation:

$115,000/year to $166,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
