Otak Inc. Construction Inspector (Limited Duration) in Vancouver, Washington

Join Otak for an exciting opportunity as a skilled Construction Inspector on a limited duration project near beautiful coastal towns Newport and Manzanita, Oregon! This role offers an opportunity to advance your career by overseeing and inspecting a complex project while collaborating with our experienced project managers to ensure the successful completion of public works infrastructure projects.

This is a full-time, limited duration position scheduled from July through October 2024 (lodging and per-diem provided).

What you'll do:

  • Ensure site observations and Weekly Site Report are completed, tracked and documented.
  • Review and interpret construction documents, site drawings, as-built drawings, and specifications.
  • Assist in resolving construction issues by clarifying plans and specifications.
  • Submittal review; monitor that the contractor is providing approved items through submittal process.
  • Assists SPM or PM in ensuring all permits are procured and the applicant is following all jurisdictional requirements.
  • Assess and review change order requests.

What you bring:

  • ODOT Construction Inspector certification(s) highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction, technical or design related field desired.
  • Valid driver's license including a good driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and work location as well as market and business considerations.

Pay Range: $40 - $48 per hour
